I'm sure almost all of you have seen or heard of this Japanese Hair Care Series, Essential! I've been using it since early this year, and i've to admit i was attracted to the pink and orange colour packaging initially, that's why i bought it. Hahahaha!

I've been using the Essential Nuance Airy (pink colour) shampoo and the Essential Rich Premier (orange colour) conditioner for a few months already.

The orange colour Rich Premier is very suitable for those with damaged and dry hair. After using the shampoo and conditioner, my hair really became as soft as my nephew, Baby Brandon's hair. However, personally, its a tad too rich for me. Haha, so by night, my scalp became a little oily for my liking. =(
Then i changed and used the pink colour Nuance Airy, and holly-molly, its fabulous! Hair remains bouncy throughout the whole day! No more oily scalp and bangs. Oh yeah!

Don't know about you, but i prefer this combination because Nuance Airy Shampoo let me have light-weight hair the whole day, while Rich Premier Conditioner locks up moisture and let me have smooth and manageable hair too!

If you'd like to have tame and un-frizzy hair, but at the same time, wants to ensure that it still has volume, use the pink Nuance Airy Treatment everyday!
I use the Treatment once every 3 or 4 days.
Well, of course if that is not enough, you can give your hair more intensive care (ie super duper hair spa), and treat it to a weekly Essential Hair Mask!

Hehe, i secretly use them when i am in the sauna, after doing Yoga. If you not know yet, the steam in the sauna room actually allows better absorption for our hair! Just use this once a week and your hair will thank you for doting them. =)

After showering, towel dry hair first. The Serum works best on towel-dried hair.

If you are too lazy to head over to the sauna, you can also do it at home. Just leave the Hair Mask on your hair for 5 minutes after shampooing. You will realise your last 15cm of your hair suddenly becomes alive!
If you are using massive hair products like i do (ie hair spray, styling, blow dry), then you will realise you will need a Hair Serum.

I love leave-on treatments because it always gives the illusion that i have shiny and very healthy hair. Hohoho! Its darn good when you are going for photoshoots. Love the shine!

Comb through briefly to make sure there are no knots. Always use a wide-teeth-comb on wet hair!

Spread an appropriate amount (for me i pumped out the size of a 10 cent coin) on your palm.
Spread serum on palm and apply evenly onto hair. Apply from mid-length to the bottom and avoid touching your scalp. Do not rinse off ok!
I also like it that it doesn't weigh my hair down. Hair still feels light and bouncy after use! Scalp remains fresh and not a tinge of oil.
And my best part is that the serum doesn't leave your palm oily! I washed my hands with clear water and the serum gets washed off. Love it to the max!!!
I am loving the serum for the shine it gives my hair! And it definitely minimizes any fray hair flying around.
