Moving from MediaCorp Caldecott Broadcast Centre, Andrew Road to Riverside Point, Clarke Quay tomorrow!!!
Yipeeeeeee! I am delighted cuz that means i can sleep 15mins longer every morning! Well, 15mins might seem nothing to you students out there, but 15mins meant a ton to me ok.
Apparantly we moved cuz we are funded by the Workforce Development Agency to build a campus that is equipped with the latest file-based training facilities including a 5.1 audio post production lab, dubbing suite, video post production lab, radio conty and a HD TV studio. (I have no idea what are these. I just copied and pasted the whole chunk of specs from my ofc mail.)
So i am ready to say "Good Bye" to all at Caldecott Hill!
My typical day which will soon be history. So before that day comes, let me take you to the first and last tour in my ofc first.
The usual route i take after alighting from the bus. Andrew Road is soooooo inaccessible. I have to change so many buses and trains. Bah~
Wasting 5mins of my life to walk to here from the main road every morning.
Reception area, with the friendly-to-public-but-unfriendly-to-me receptionist. I can't stand it but i have to bitch about her. So sorry.
Entering the gantry with my pass. Oh well, not very secured actually, cuz i heard of toilet-peeping-toms in our premises before! Eeekie~
My ofc is next to the canteen. Thats why i have to walk past the canteen everyday. My favourite store is the fruit juice store, and of cuz Mei Feng Jie who owns the Economical Rice Stall (actually i hate to eat from economical stall...)... Food is usually affordable at MediaCorp's Canteen.
Usually you can spot artistes here during tea time in the afternoon... BB, Nat Ho really not handsome at all in real life!!!!
And at the end of the canteen is the graffitti wall showing Singapore Media Academy, where my day will start.
And this door leads to the start of my day.
My desk is very unhomely, humble, very messy, very sparce, very boring and only organised in my own way.
Everyone has to wear the pass in the premises else your name would be recorded by the security. So Primary School hor...
Sometimes we conduct tours for the public to MediaCorp. This time round i was put in-charge of 33 Primary School teachers.
Thats the 93.8FM live in action. The DJs record their show in the fish tank, where everyone can see what they are doing.
They also visited other radio stations, like 98.7FM and 93.3FM in the radio building. To me, Mary Bukoh is the friendiest DJ! And Li Yi's very fair, and pretty well-groomed for her age.
Visited the TV studio too. This is the humble door that leads to Studio 6, where all the actors and actresses and props and lightings and cameras etc... can be found.
Inside its dam cool... Everything is fake (including the pple inside) -_-
We also visited Traffic Watch. Its a cool and facinating place. You can zoom in all the way to see who your boyfriend is messing around with in his office.

They made the scene which striked a huge resemblance to the neighbourhood in Toa Payoh. I was amused. Haha! I thk it's sposed to be TPY la.
Haha, even had the Lingerie shop! Kekekek, and look who's filming!
Shawn (i dun like you cuz you molested Janette Aw and married Michelle Chia) and Wang Si Li (ex-Ms S'pore Universe rite?).
I dig the fake bikini shop. I wish i could break into the studio and try on all the bikinis they have here.
Heh, and now you know even the corridors shown on TV are all make shifts! Heez...
And this is just one portion in Studio 6! Its actually very huge!

So thats a brief tour around MediaCorp. It was great hanging out at Caldecott, but i'm more than happy to move to Riverside Point tmr! Now i can leave ofc earlier everyday without having to wait for the scheduled shuttle bus.
Yipeeee!
